As well as her books, Alexa is an accomplished children’s television screenwriter, able to bounce between preschool, middle grade and ‘tweens with ease.
She has written for numerous shows including co-writing the Alice-Miranda Friends Forever telemovie, The Berry Bees (produced by SLR), Lexi & Lottie: Trusty Twin Detectives (TenPlay), Tashi (7Two), Hoopla Doopla! (ABCKids), Hoot Hoot Go! (ABCKids), Sydney Sailboat (ABCKids), The Woodlies (ABC) and The Davincibles (Seven).
In 2016, Alexa was nominated for an Australian Writer’s Guild award for her work on Sydney Sailboat (aka Bubble Bath Bay).
